• Use the Right O-Ring: Don't put a standard black Buna O-ring in a system running hot or with nasty chemicals. Use a Viton® O-ring to match the fitting's capability.
• Lubricate, Don't Go-rilla: A little clean lubricant on the O-ring and swivel threads is good practice. Use a torque wrench, not just muscle. The goal is to perfectly compress the O-ring, not to stretch the bolts.
