Installation & Usage Guidelines
- Thoroughly inspect the ORFS male flat face and O-ring groove, the extended ORB male threads and O-ring groove, and all mating surfaces to ensure they are clean, undamaged, and free from any contaminants.
- Verify that the O-rings for both the ORFS end and the ORB end are the correct size and material for the application. Ensure the O-rings are correctly lubricated with a system-compatible fluid.
- Carefully install the lubricated O-rings into the grooves on both male ends of the adapter.
- Thread the extended male ORB end of the adapter into the mating female ORB port by hand until the O-ring makes contact and the shoulder seats. Tighten with a wrench to the recommended torque for the ORB size.
- Align the male ORFS end of the adapter with the mating female ORFS swivel fitting or prepared tube end. Hand-tighten the ORFS swivel nut until the flat faces make contact and the O-ring is engaged.
