- Verify O-rings are correct for the application and properly lubricated. Install the O-ring onto the ORFS male end and the flange head.
- Position the flange head against the mating Code 61 port face. Place the split flange halves (or captive flange) behind the flange head. Insert bolts and tighten progressively and evenly in a diagonal pattern to the recommended torque.
- Connect the male ORFS end of the adapter to a mating female ORFS swivel fitting. Hand-tighten the swivel nut until faces meet, then tighten to the recommended torque using appropriate wrenches, backing up the adapter body.
