Viton® (FKM) bonded seal for BSPP fittings, recommended for stainless steel applications due to superior temperature and chemical resistance. This 316 stainless steel configuration is intended for hydraulic and fluid-transfer installations where corrosion resistance is important alongside the specified BSP connection geometry.

316 Stainless Steel for Corrosive Service

It does not change the required thread form or sealing arrangement: each end must still be matched to the correct BSPP, BSPT, JIC, ORFS, ORB, or NPTF counterpart.
